Hamilton is roughly 70 minutes from our Yorkville clinic by car, or accessible by GO Transit. Patients who wish to combine virtual care with occasional in-person visits find the commute manageable, particularly via the Lakeshore West GO line to Union Station.

How Virtual Consultations Work

Discovery Call
A complimentary introductory call with our team. We learn about your health concerns, current medications, and goals. You learn about our approach and what to expect.

Bloodwork in Hamilton
Lab requisitions are sent electronically. Hamilton has multiple LifeLabs and Dynacare locations in the downtown core, on the Mountain, in Ancaster, Dundas, and Stoney Creek. Draw your labs whenever your schedule permits.

Physician Assessment
Dr. Xiao reviews your full lab panel and health intake, calculates your baseline Vis Viva Score, and constructs an individualized hormone protocol. Initial consultations are typically 45-60 minutes.

Compounds & Ongoing Care
Your prescription is filled by our compounding pharmacy and shipped to Hamilton. Follow-up bloodwork and virtual appointments are scheduled at 4–6 weeks, then quarterly. Every protocol is titrated to your response.

FAQ for Hamilton Patients
Can I get BHRT in Hamilton without visiting Toronto?
Yes. Everything from the initial consultation to prescription management and follow-up care is conducted virtually. Labs are drawn at Hamilton-area facilities, and your compounds are shipped to your home. Travel to Toronto is entirely optional.
I'm a McMaster student/resident. Is there a younger patient demographic for BHRT?
Hormonal imbalances are not restricted to midlife. We see patients in their twenties and thirties presenting with thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, metabolic disruption, and symptomatic testosterone deficiency. If your bloodwork and symptoms warrant investigation, age alone does not exclude you from care.
How does bloodwork coordination work if I'm in Hamilton?
We send lab requisitions electronically. You visit any LifeLabs or Dynacare in the Hamilton area, including locations on the Mountain, in downtown Hamilton, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown, and Stoney Creek. Results come directly to us. The process is identical to what a local physician would order.
